Write Your Own Manifesto
In honor of Banned Books Week, New York Times bestselling author Ellen Hopkins wrote Manifesto—a powerful poem that conveys her strong belief in the freedom of speech. Read Ellen’s Manifesto

Now we want to hear from you! Write your own manifesto, a poem of 25 words or more, about something that is important to you and you feel passionately about. It can be on any subject—serious or fun—from racism to your love of writing. All entries must be tagged with “ManifestoPoem.”
There will be two winners chosen.
1. Ellen’s Pick: The winner will be chosen by Ellen and will receive a Cruz T301 Andriod Tablet with all of Ellen Hopkins’s eBooks loaded onto it.
2. Popular Pick: The winner with the most reads will receive all of Ellen Hopkins’s teen books and a $100 American Express gift card.
